It remains as a question among the people ,will Linux overcome Windows .Microsoft windows is continue as the mostly using operating system in the world ……even incase of other operating systems like Mac OS ,Linux distributions such as mandriva ,redhat ,ubuntu ,hitting their new versions daily ,Microsoft still leading the world era.

Now its released its new server edition Microsoft windows 2008 to beat against the popular Linux server editions ..But here the question is that ,there will be any chance to end up the Microsoft journey by Linux .
The people those who supports the open source softwares is always an expectation to this question, they still believe that the future world will lead by Linux .But the windows fans continuously hailing the death of Linux soon .

Even though the Linux softwares are available for free of cost , peoples have’nt ready to threw the windows through their window. when it was before 1985 the peoples refer the UNIX as their favorite and the companies choose it as the best among others.But now it’s the world of Microsoft no one can beat them .Most of the peoples hate to use this free software.

Lets check out the important reasons, why most of the peoples hate Linux

The Linux is not a user friendly by depending Microsoft
The free softwares are not so good

4.No further studies offers by Linux, In most of the countries they prefers Windows for their school studies .

Now Linux offers its several operating systems for both desktop edition and server edition .like Ubuntu,Kubuntu,Red hat , linspare, Gnu/linux ,these all are available for free of cost,but the notable thing is that Linux is more popular in managing server edition than windows server editions like 2000,2003,and latest 2008.some one is believing the windows 2008 will break up the Linux server OSs.

Any way we can’t able to tell that will Linux or Microsoft lead the next generation OSs.But to overcome the Microsoft ,Linux have to work harder

Note:In Kerala (one of the state of India),from the 5th standard ,they are teaching both Linux(gnu/linux)and Microsoft upto the 10th standard .But the surveys under goes in Kerala schools shows that the students like to use the windows OS than Linux.about 80% students is avoiding Linux after their 10th standard……..its a hard proof of that is Linux is not a user friendly
